The trailer of Kites was supposed to be released along with My Name is Khan on 12th February 2010 but was leaked on Internet. This will be Hrithik Roshan’s first movie to release in more than 2 years; the last one being Jodha Akbar in January 2008. It is about love and passion, which transcends through the barrier of language and culture. Jay (Hrithik Roshan) is in love with Natasha (Barbara Mori), who is engaged to someone else. This street smart guy is now a wanted man left to die in the Mexican deserts, but one thing that keeps him alive is the quest to find Natasha. The film also stars Kangana Ranaut, but not much is revealed about her character so far. Even the promos show Kangana Ranaut once with Barbara Mori for a split second.
Cinematography seems brilliant. From Promo it appears that the movie will provide full dose of action, romance and drama. This awesome trailer, the fact that the director Anurag Basu has given some brilliant movies like Ganster, Life in a Metro, and Hrithik comes out better and better in his home production surely makes me interested to see this Kites’ first flight in May 2010.
