Aal Izz Well With 3 Idiots, Go Watch It!

aamir khaan three idiots movie Aal Izz Well With 3 Idiots, Go Watch It!For all those who were fearing the disastrous repeat of the adaptation of the previous Chetan Bhagat movie, need not fear the same, but should definitely fear not getting the tickets for this movie over the holidays.

Three Idiots has been germinated from the seeds of Bhagat’s ‘Five Point Someone’ but Hirani has given the movie a vision in which he has even surpassed his excellence, which was the Munnabhai series. The very first scene of the movie grips you in it and pulls you into the world of our three idiots who have shared THE most important years of their life – College, and mind you ENGINEERING college.

Three Idiots is a story of friendship that is so realistically close to your heart that you can never really feel far away from it. It is about how ragging is done in college, of how professors can really frustrate the hell out of you, about a college life that is not really out of the movies but out of the real life… which you and I would have experienced at one time or the other.

The story is a narration and it is very delicately threaded in between the past and the present. There is a whole new dimension that has been given to the movie by the beautiful direction and great adaptation by Raju Hirani. An entirely new twist in the movie, just at the time of the intermission leaves you squirming in your seats, and if you have read the book, it makes you wonder if Chetan Bhagat could have done a better job in his book…!!!

Boman Irani as Virus is at his best. R. Madhvan and Sharman Joshi did what they do the best – great acting. There is no real ‘chemistry’ between Kareena and Aamir because there is hardly any scope for that but Kareena will remind you of Geet from Jab we Met. Aamir Khan is at his usual best. I will not give the movie too many marks for the music score though. It is very ordinary, but well placed in the movie.

The best thing about the movie is the continuance of humor. Like they say, there is not a dull moment in the movie at all. No screechy emotional atayachar or nonsense jokes that you get bored off. What Raju Hirani did when he adapted ‘Five Point Someone’ is that, he got inside the book, and picked up what truly was the essence of the book and not the complete story in itself. Kudos to him. And trust me, you do not want to be an IDIOT and miss this one. So go and come out of the theater with the warmth of love, friendship and you will truly find that Aal Izz Well…

sakshi chopra Aal Izz Well With 3 Idiots, Go Watch It!This is a Guest Post by Sakshi Chopra. In her own words, Sakshi is “ just me.  A 20 something girl trying my best to find out what I am. A dreamer to the core – I pray that all dreams in some way should become reality. Yup, I yap.. and lots. At times I don’t even make sense – but madness and craziness are the part of the package that is me. I love to write, even though am not so good at it. I am trying to make sense of all the things that do not make sense around me… be it studies, my activities or me. This is ME…!!!” (As told to Yadu Rajiv)
