The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is the Indian counterpart of the FBI. (With some luck, you already know that) However, there is an appalling ignorance about the Indian Law enforcing agencies especially in India and many people confuse the CBI with the CID or the State Crime Branch.
That said, CBI – the premier investigating agency of India is running a number of programs fighting criminals and malpractices. the government institutions in India have been slow in spreading on to the internet, but now even they have understood the reach the medium brings. CBI is actively running its programs online and also a blog.
One of the most prominent program is the Anti-Corruption Program. The Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) of the CBI is actively working with the indian population in highlighting acts of corruption and taking appropriate measures. They had established phone lines earlier (call the ACU at 011-24360361 or at +919968081206), they are also accessible over the net.
Be warned: the website has the typical flaws of any government websites including pathetic design. Guard your eyes well.
Whatever might be the fallacy of the agency, it cannot succeed without the aid of the citizens of the country. Lets work towards a better India.

We define the India connection as: Either from India, or for Indians, or by Indians, not limited by the geography of India and not influenced by the Polity of India. The blog was started on August 16, 2009.
We are also working towards our first web-show – The WiSy Video Reviews. We currently show advertising through Adsense and do write sponsored posts. After we complete 6 months of existence, we will publish our traffic stats.
