Wibiya Toolbar is a blog addon provided by Modular Patterns that adds a nifty toolbar at the end of your blog. Very functional and very intutive, Wibiya helps you build a strong community around your blog. We are using Wibiya on the What I Say blog, so lets walk you through how the toolbar is helping us and our visitors.
First of all, installing Wibiya is very easy – it is as simple as installing a blog plugin. It supports all modern blogging platforms.Once done with the installing, you can log into the Wibiya Dashboard and customise the applications on the toolbar and the appearance. lets look at what all features wibiya toolbar is offering on the What I Say blog. Starting from left:
Search: The first application is a search application. Using the search application, you can search over the Internet or on WiSy.
Translate: The second application is the translation application. It uses the Google Translation engine to translate the current page on the blog into one of the 11 prominent languages on the web.
Recent Posts: The recent posts application shows a listing of the 5 most recent posts published on the blog.
Random: The random application will take you to a random post on the blog.
RSS: Next is the RSS Application (shown as the RSS icon). You can subscribe to the blog’s feed in your favourite feed reader using this application.
Share Application: The Share application provides you the option to social bookmark the current page onto a number of social bookmarking sites.

The toolbar is very functional and targeted towards helping website administrators create a following and listening around their blogs. From the Wibiya Dashboard you can control what applications are available on the toolbar as well as the appearance of your toolbar. Additionally, you can also add notifications on your blog’s toolbar from the dashboard. The dashboard also provides you analytics about the interactions taking place on the toolbar.

What I Say (WiSy for short) is an emerging reviews blog from India. We review anything and everything under the sun which has an India connection. We define the India connection as: Either from India, or for Indians, or by Indians, not limited by the geography of India and not influenced by the Polity of India. The blog was started on August 16, 2009.
We are also working towards our first web-show – The WiSy Video Reviews. We currently show advertising through Adsense and do write sponsored posts. After we complete 6 months of existence, we will publish our traffic stats.
